Maratac PCL Brass Keychain Flashlight Review

Everyone probably knows by now I enjoy brass lights.  All kinds, all sizes.... I recently acquired the Maratac PCL in Brass.  I don't like these as keychain lights, but they're fun lights to keep around.  They call it the Personal Carry Light, and here are my thoughts!

Nitecore V2 Charger Review

I was on a long driving trip a while back and fighting for access to USB ports.  All while wanting to be able to charge 18650 cells (because I was using those cells in my Nitecore F2 for charging devices).  Now Nitecore comes out with the perfect product?  I'm pleased to have one from Nitecore Store for review! Read on, and hope you enjoy!

Thought you all might like to have a look at the new Thrunite announced just the other day: ThruNite Catapult V6 Mini Thrower Rechargeable Flashlight Cool White I hope to be able to bring you a review of one of these fairly soon! Manker E03H Headlamp Review

It's been a long time since I reviewed a Manker light, though I have liked most of the Manker's I've had.  The E14 is still a personal favorite (and in my opinion, a watershed light).  Good friends have described the E03H as a must have, so I ... had to have one!  Fortunately Fasttech came through for me.  So here's the review of the E03H!

Rofis R1 Flashlight Review

Rofis is one of those brands I haven't known for long, but I've by-and-large liked a whole lot.  Recently I had the MR70, and that's going to be my go-to travel light.  Rofis has a thing for making lights with rotating heads, and this is another example.  This version, however, adds on-board charging!

Mooshimeter – A Phone-Screen, Dual channel, logging digital multimeter.

I was on the search for a logging multimeter for ages.  A friend mentioned he'd gotten this "Mooshimeter" - a meter I'd never heard of.  I asked around about it, got in touch with James, and he sent over a refurbished unit for me to test and play with.  Now, I'm not electrical engineer - I discussed that with him and I'll say it up front to you.  This isn't going to be that kind of test.  Consider it an overview, a how-it-works.  And if nothing else, a bunch of photos of the unit!

Olight H16 Wave Headlamp Review

Olight's released another headlamp, in the same vein as the HS2, which I've previously reviewed here.  I liked the HS2 (still have it and use it often), but it's a very runner-specific headlamp.  The H16 Wave is an interesting development, because it's adds a "Wave," 'hands free' feature.  Let's see how it all works for this light!

Olight M2T Warrior Flashlight Review

Olight has recently released a new version of the M2R. This is the M2T, which is similar to the M2R, but without on-board charging (and costing much less!).  This light has some noteworthy tactical features, and is a nice iteration of the M2R.  Read on for more!

Olight Ion Keychain Flashlight Review

Olight recently released a 10 Year Anniversary light.  I don't imagine this will become a normal production light, and as such that's how I'll evaluate it.  It's an unusual keychain light, with glass front and back, an integrated cell, and on-board charging.  It's the Olight Ion, and here are my thoughts!

Olight X7R Marauder Flashlight Review

Olight has iterated the X7, and added charging.  I reviewed the X7 ages ago (back in 2016), and was generally pleased.  Let's see how (if?) Olight has improved on this venerable design, by adding recharging and an indicating side switch.

MecArmy SGN7 Keychain Flashlight Review

Seems that I've been on a keychain light kick lately, and here's another one!  Well, in some sense, anyway.  This is more of a rectangular light with unusual features....   Also my first MecArmy light in basically forever (the other being the PT16, which I really liked.)  Read on for more info and thoughts about this MecArmy SGN7!

Sunwalk SW5505U Solar Panel with USB out Review

I've asked for a solar panel from GearBest for a long while now, because I think that's something my main people (flashlight people) might be interested in.  GearBest obliged my repeated requests wish this small panel, and it's quenched my curiosity for a little while.  Read on to see how this panel performs!

Lumintop Tool AA Flashlight Review

I have reviewed a bunch of Lumintop lights, and really, I'm a fan.  The Tool AAA series was good enough that after I got the two review versions, I bought two more myself!  This is the Tool AA, which shares the look of the AAA version, and features as well.  Like the AAA version, there are a few options for this light.  Read on!

Nitecore MH23 Flashlight Review

I've long been a fan of the Nitecore MH20/MH20GT format, and Nitecore has a new similar light in the series.  It's the MH23, and Nitecore sent one over for review.  (And to be completely honest I'm pumped to have it.)
