Nitecore has released a second in their "Concept" series. This is the Concept 2. A four cell, four emitter with on-board charging and an indicating switch. It looks pretty spectacular on paper, especially when it's noted that this tiny light is Nitecore's highest output light to date! Let's see how it breaks down.
When I saw this one I immediately wanted one. I love cleavers, I love carbon fiber, and the overall design of this one just drew me in. GearBest sent one over - this is the Ganzo F7551-CF!
I, like everyone else, recently reviewed the Ultratac A1. When I agreed to that one, I also asked for this light, the Ultratac K18 Mini Brass. Mike at Ultratac agreed, and here's my review of this tiny little light!
There's a new maker in town! These guys are FidgetHQ, makers of some fine and very popular fidget spinners in brass, stainless, copper, and titanium. They know how to get things done, and they've set their eyes on flashlight. This is their first offering, a triple emitter, 18650/18350 light, with Bistro firmware. Here's my review of this light!
Along with the XTAR PB2 I recently reviewed, XTAR sent the Dragon VP4 Plus 4 bay 2A charger. This is an interesting charger, with some unusual features, and I'm glad to give it a test, too!
GearBest sent over a projector for review. I think this one's a hot item at the moment; here's my review and thoughts on it! Note I've not reviewed a projector before, so this review could be slightly basic for seasoned projector veterans out there; I'm always open to improving my reviews based on constructive criticism!
I reached out to Xtar regarding a couple of their chargers. Particularly the PB2, their newest charger/powerbank. Looks awesome on paper! They also sent over a Dragon, which I'll have some thoughts on later. For now, the PB2.
I have a short history of reviewing keyboards, and a growing collection. I tend to like smaller boards, and I'm pleased that GearBest sent out this Motospeed CK61 for review. Here's the review, including teardown and thoughts! Also, my first box switches!!
I teased a working unit of a bench power that I built last year. I cataloged the process in the best way I could figure, and here's that post! So here's my second "How Do I..." Build a Bench Power from a PSU. I'm not an electrical engineer or have any background in engineering or electronics. I'm happy to pass this knowledge along, and I hope you find it useful.
Nitecore has released a new lantern "lipstick style" light. This time it's in the 18650 format. It was the LA10 before, in AA format. I never had that light so I went in with no preconceived notions. This is essentially billed as a dual purpose light; EDC and Lantern.
Here's another in Nitecore's new run of lights. This one has an interesting feature - an angle(able) head. Otherwise, it's a nice iteration of the MT - Multi Task - series of Nitecore lights.
Another item that CountyComm sent for review! This is the Brass Embassy Pen, Rev 3 (2018). I love brass, and it's just blind luck that the nice folks at CountyComm chose this item for me, and I'm excited to have it! Read on for more thoughts, and more importantly, photos!!
Nitecore has a new lantern out, with some unusual features. This is the LA30, which has an internal pouch cell (lipo), and can also run off 2 AA sized cells, too. It's a nice combo, and has red and white emitters, too!
I've been off and on excited about RC cars lately. Gearbest sent one that was awesome (until it wasn't) and they've sent a few more that I've struggled to get finished reviewing. This is the next installment, a 1:16 truck!
This is a light I'd never have asked for but got in a package with another light (The UT25). I liked the UT25 just fine, and in fact have liked other Nitefox lights just fine too. This is an unusual light from their line; let's see how it stacks up.
Next in my somewhat long list of Nitecore lights is a light very similar to the P26 I just reviewed. This is a smaller variant, still with the rotary dial and dual switch.
For a while now, I've been looking into getting a "cell sponsor." I review a bunch of lights and I'd love to keep these cells as fresh as possible. Luckily enough the kind folks over at LiIonWholesale agreed to send over some cells now and again. These are the first cells they've sent - Vapcell 18350.
Banggood got in touch about a review item and we agreed on this Astrolux light. I generally like Astrolux lights, and this copper light is stunning. Plus it has a great UI!
Reviewing computers is a bit outside the scope of my expertise. However, I was in need of a Windows machine for use with some other review items (namely the EasyThreed E3D Nano), and GearBest agreed to send this little computer to me for use with that printer, and for review. Here's the review of the GPD Pocket Computer!
