GearBest has been sending out these VC4 chargers lately, an I was on the receiving end. I'm pleased with that, since I typically like XTAR goods. This charger isn't new, and is quite simple, so could be a good standard. Read on to see how it tests!
Sometimes items show up that I don't really know much about, and didn't really plan on reviewing. This is one of those items. Fortunately it's a flashlight too, so I can certainly evaluate that aspect of it.... The rest I'll mostly leave to photos to describe.
Anyone reading this site probably knows about the throw King, the BLF GT. Recently Lumintop made a little brother, the BLF GT Mini. This was an instant buy for me, and today I have a little review of it!
There's another entry in the .... let's call it the "USB dongle charger" list. This is the Nitecore LC10, which is similar to other dongle chargers, but adds a few new features! There's an in-line lantern, and the poles are reversible on this charger. Read on for more!
The RovyVon lights have been popping up over and over, so I reached out to RovyVon on amazon about some review units. I'd hoped to get a sampling of various iterations, but in the end RovyVon agreed to send the GITD version, the A5.
I'd asked over and over for the Q4 charger from Nitecore, but it just never happened. Then they went and upped the bays by 2, and made the Q6! I'm happy to have one of those in for review! Thanks Nitecore!
Today I have a light I've been geeked up about for a while now. Lumintop sent one to me for review, and I put it through the paces. Here's the review of the Lumintop Geek! It has Nichia!!
What I have today is another Lumintop, in a long line of Lumintop reviews. This is one I've been excited about, because it's Nichia and brass. Unfortunately, Lumintop didn't want to send brass or titanium, but I'm not going to hold that against them. 🙂 Here's the Lumintop IYP365 in aluminum, with a Nichia emitter.
A while back, I reviewed a Wowtac light. That was the BSS V3. Wowtac got in touch with me about a new light they are releasing; it's a two cell 18650 mid range thrower. It's the A4. Read on for more!
LiIonWholesale have sent over a few more cells for testing. I'm hoping to get something regular going, and I hope this post will motivate that to happen - it's my first pass at an actual thorough cell test!! This is the Protected LG MJ1 3500mAh 10A 18650 Button Top cell!
My list of XTAR items reviewed includes many chargers, but only one light. But they have out a new light. It's a dive light, with an interesting switch. I'm no diver, but I did put the light through the normal paces. Here's that review!
Here's one of those random reviews of a light (and items) that I purchase myself, and am completely free to say what I want. (That's a joke; I say what I want about all items I review, no matter how I get them.) This is a light I've eyeballed for ages, but never ponied up the money for. I had a failed purchase through another site, so I decided to use that money for this light. It's the Oveready Lava P60 host. I paired it with two drop ins; a 371d p60 triple drop in, and an Oveready DIP 8-mode 219c drop in. I'm excited to have this light, and glad to put forth this review!

Today I have another Sofirn light. I've reviewed a couple before and I find them to be good values. Let's see how this 18650 EDC style light stacks up!
Vortex contacted me out of the blue one day, about these review lights. I wasn't terribly interested except that 1) their lights have orange accents and 2) the lights have a charging base. Normally that might not be a big deal but as I understood it, the light would come on if there was a power disconnect to the base. That's a pretty big deal. Read on to see if that's how things went!
Nitecore has recently released a couple of special edition small lights, the full copper TIP and TINI. While I've reviewed the TINI before, I thought a full copper version might warrant an updated review!
An update to he extremely popular Skilhunt H03 is the H03 RC. The RC version adds charging, and not much else. It's a very nice package; read on for more!
After my previous experience with a remote control car, I wasn't just ready to jump on the bandwagon for another one. But GearBest wanted to send this car.... And it was another by the same brand that broke on me. JJRC. So I was skeptical. This is the JJRC Speed Runner Q46. Spoiler: it's orders of magnitude better than the Q39!!!
Nitecore has released a second in their "Concept" series. This is the Concept 2. A four cell, four emitter with on-board charging and an indicating switch. It looks pretty spectacular on paper, especially when it's noted that this tiny light is Nitecore's highest output light to date! Let's see how it breaks down.
