Fasttech sent a message asking if I'd like to review a light for them. I don't turn down many lights, so I said sure! They suggested a few brands and we settled on this Zebralight. Yes, it's already been replaced by a newer model, which Fasttech doesn't carry (yet?). Nonetheless, the Zebrlaight sc63w is still a great offering, and worth review.
Nitecore sent out another headlamp, this time a single 18650 light. I happen to really like angle lights, and I'm considerably into 18650 lights as well, so I'm interested to see how this little light performs. This is the Nitecore HC33.
Here's a light from GearBest that I saw, thought looked neat, and GearBest agreed to send. I haven't heard of Amutorch before, but they have a few offerings.
I have a long list of JETBeams that I'm fairly fond of.... I think JETBeam makes a great product, and even some specialty lights that are among my favorite (JETBeam Jet-II Pro in titanium!). Here's a much more tactical, bigger, and huge output 18650 light from JETBeam, with the Cree XHP70.2!
Emisar has been killing it lately. Just released is this D1S, their throwiest offering yet. I am pleased to have one, as I don't like the typical entry into throwy 18650 lights (that is, the C8). Let's see how it stacks up!
Another in a long line of Olight is the Olight M2R. This one is highly anticipated and regarded, with the momentary and recharging tailcap. It's a cool light on paper, so let's have a closer look.
The SkyRC MC3000 is a charger I've been asking GearBest to send for a long while. They finally agreed, and here's my review! This charger is ridiculously capable. I'll say up front that I will not be testing every capability of this charger. I might only just scratch the surface! But I will try to give you an idea about the charger, and if it lives up to the claims that will be useful for a flashlight enthusiast.
It's been a while since I reviewed anything for Xtar. I like Xtar items. They're typically solid workhorses - not always the most flashy items. Xtar sent over this VC2 Plus Master charger, and I've been testing it for a while. Read on!
It should be well known by this point that I am a fan of Skilhunt. I've been a huge fan of the H03, and that's just fostered a favor toward the brand. I've been asking over and over to get some other Skilhunt lights from Gearbest, and finally they obliged me by sending this S2 Pro and S3 Pro. Both are form factors I already know I like (like the Nitecore P30) but add on-board charging to the mix. Let's see how they fare!!
Sofirn sent out a bunch of messages recently asking for reviewers. I was one of the recipients, and I agreed to review this C8 variant, the C8F. It’s a C8, yes, but a triple! I was interested. I like a triple. 🙂
There's a new charger brand on the markets, being carried by the fine gentlemen at Illumn.com. So far I believe there are three models, the A1, A2, and A4. The A1 is what we'll be seeing here (I have the A4 also, look for the review soon). The A1 is a very interesting little cable/magnet charger, which doubles as a powerbank. Read on for more!
This Nitecore is new enough that I hadn't heard of it yet, but NitecoreStore.com sent it over for a review. It's a neat little light!
Another Emisar light! This one I paid for myself, after liking the D4 so much. I like the idea; let's see how the execution is. Since the build is so similar between the D1 and D4, this review will probably be a bit abbreviated.
I love getting Convoy lights for review. Here's another one, (and one I have been asking for), the Convoy X3. This is a 26650 format small thrower, with cell versatility and a great tint. Read on for more!
Klarus has a good 'recharging light' game going, and now there's the XT2CR in the mix. Read on to see how the light looks, and fares in testing!
A new 4-bay charger by Nitecore! My main and most-used charger is a Nitecore (d4), which I'm very satisfied with. I was hoping this would be a replacement/upgrade to my old d4; let's see how it fares!
Nitecore sent over this tactical flashlight, the P16 TAC and the SC4 charger at the same time. I'm still working on the SC4, but I've put the P16 TAC through it's paces. So here's the review!
Before receiving this Armytek Elf C2, I'd literally never laid my hands on an Armytek light. I was always curious about them but for this reason or that, just never had one. Well Marshall over at Going Gear was kind enough to oblige my request for the Elf C2, and here's my chance to see what they're all about!!
I got a bit of a cold call from a company called "Favour." I honestly hadn't heard of them but they wanted to send out some of their very newest (and unannounced) offerings. They have the press to be good lights, so I was interested in seeing them. The first three, The T1921, T2042, and T2117 - all zoomie lights. And there's one more in this review, the T2222.
