I've reviewed many iterations of this light. I did the S42 not that long ago. And one of my very first reviews was of the Manker E14 (which I later sold, and hugely regretted selling). This is yet another update on that platform, with 219c emitters, and some other improvements. Read on for more!
I have review other Reylights before (Lan Ti and Pineapple), and like them. I still use them quite often, actually. Rey has an AAA light on the market, the Pineapple Mini! At my request, Banggood sent this one over for testing. Read on for my thoughts!
Today I have the Astrolux MF02, the first in my quest to have all the MF0x series lights from Astrolux. This is the [smaller?] thrower option - there's also the MF01, which is a can "wall of light" light, and the MF04, which is a super thrower. I generally like Astrolux and (certainly like the S41! thought technically I reviewed the Manker E14 version.) The MF02 is a nice large thrower with a warm emitter - a good combo. Let's see how it works out!
Banggood got in touch about a review item and we agreed on this Astrolux light. I generally like Astrolux lights, and this copper light is stunning. Plus it has a great UI!
With the continuing popularity of the Astrolux S41, an updated was developed: The S42. This light is essentially iterative, but adds micro-USB charging. And the Nichia emitter (which I have here) is 219c instead of 219b. Possibly most importantly, a new user interface! Let's see how this S42 stacks up!
What an interesting spinner (and matching flashlight, if you're into it!). This is my first 8+ minute spinner. I love it.
