Sofirn is continuing their media blitz, and I'm on the receiving end! This time it's the SF36, an 18650 medium-thrower.
Liitokala is known for nice products which tend to be reasonably priced. This is their latest offering, an update to the Lii-100. This is the Lii-S1, which has a digital display, and the option to work no matter the orientation of the cell. A novel feature! Read on for more.
Nitecore has a charger campaign going, and asked that I share this video on my site. I have used Nitecore charges for as long as I've been flashlighting, and I really like them indeed!
I had seen this charger randomly around the internet and it looks so fancy. I like fancy stuff. It also looks like a very capable charger. Here's my review of it. I'll say up front (and this might be the best place, too) that this charger is is advanced enough that my typical charger-tester setup. What I mean by that is the resistance in my usual setup got sensed by the charger and prevented higher current charging.
For a while now, I've been looking into getting a "cell sponsor." I review a bunch of lights and I'd love to keep these cells as fresh as possible. Luckily enough the kind folks over at LiIonWholesale agreed to send over some cells now and again. These are the first cells they've sent - Vapcell 18350.
Banggood got in touch about a review item and we agreed on this Astrolux light. I generally like Astrolux lights, and this copper light is stunning. Plus it has a great UI!
I've reviewed a Liitokala charger before (the Lii-500). I liked that one, so I was excited to get the Lii-402, a simpler 4-bay charger by Liitokala. Read on for my thoughts and experiences!
I've started talking to XTAR a good bit more lately, and after my last XTAR review (of the VC2 Plus Master), this just released XTAR charger showed up in the mail one day. This is the XTAR Over 4 Slim. "Over 4" is an indication of performance - this unit is rated for charing at FOUR POINT ONE amps!!
After [ages] of hearing a user extol the virtues of the Imax B6 charger, I requested one from GearBest. It was quite fitting, since I also have an RC car in for review from GearBest. I am excited to plow into this charger. As it's my first hobby charger of this type, I'll probably have to learn a lot along the way.
It's been a while since I reviewed anything for Xtar. I like Xtar items. They're typically solid workhorses - not always the most flashy items. Xtar sent over this VC2 Plus Master charger, and I've been testing it for a while. Read on!
Here's the second charger from Folomov and Illumn.com that I'll be reviewing. This time it's a full four-bay charger, with claimed 3A charging capability.
A new 4-bay charger by Nitecore! My main and most-used charger is a Nitecore (d4), which I'm very satisfied with. I was hoping this would be a replacement/upgrade to my old d4; let's see how it fares!
Zanflare recently entered the market with some flashlights, and now they have a charger on the market too! Looks pretty well built, but let's dive in and see how it works. This model is called the "C4" and it's a 4 bay, multi size, multi chemistry, analyzing charger.
XTAR recently got in touch with me and sent me a Moon RC2 and a SV2 Rocket charger for a review. I really liked that Moon RC2, so let's see how this SV2 Rocket does!
