Nitecore has released a new lantern "lipstick style" light. This time it's in the 18650 format. It was the LA10 before, in AA format. I never had that light so I went in with no preconceived notions. This is essentially billed as a dual purpose light; EDC and Lantern.
I had seen this charger randomly around the internet and it looks so fancy. I like fancy stuff. It also looks like a very capable charger. Here's my review of it. I'll say up front (and this might be the best place, too) that this charger is is advanced enough that my typical charger-tester setup. What I mean by that is the resistance in my usual setup got sensed by the charger and prevented higher current charging.
Imalent has impressed me with some of their lights (Hello: DX80) and less so with others (the capacitive switch lights). So I was excited when I saw this light get listed on FastTech, and FastTech agreed to send one out for review. This is a very new light, and I'm very excited to have one for testing!
Here's another in Nitecore's new run of lights. This one has an interesting feature - an angle(able) head. Otherwise, it's a nice iteration of the MT - Multi Task - series of Nitecore lights.
After talking to Lumintop (directly), I've gotten a light for review from them. I hope to have more - they make a lot of stuff, including much of the BLF forum lights. They sent a tiny headlamp. An AAA light, with a magnet and an orange switch and headband. Great combo! Let's see how it stands up to testing.
Thrunite's just come out with a new version of their "Catapult" series. This is Version 6! I'm interested to put it through some paces, and see how it stands out!
Today I have the Astrolux MF02, the first in my quest to have all the MF0x series lights from Astrolux. This is the [smaller?] thrower option - there's also the MF01, which is a can "wall of light" light, and the MF04, which is a super thrower. I generally like Astrolux and (certainly like the S41! thought technically I reviewed the Manker E14 version.) The MF02 is a nice large thrower with a warm emitter - a good combo. Let's see how it works out!

Nitecore has a new lantern out, with some unusual features. This is the LA30, which has an internal pouch cell (lipo), and can also run off 2 AA sized cells, too. It's a nice combo, and has red and white emitters, too!

I've been off and on excited about RC cars lately. Gearbest sent one that was awesome (until it wasn't) and they've sent a few more that I've struggled to get finished reviewing. This is the next installment, a 1:16 truck!
This is a light I'd never have asked for but got in a package with another light (The UT25). I liked the UT25 just fine, and in fact have liked other Nitefox lights just fine too. This is an unusual light from their line; let's see how it stacks up.
