Nitecore UMS2 and UMS4 Charger Review

My first "real" cell charger was a Nitecore D4.  Nitecore came close to replacing it a while back with the SC4, but they've certainly done it with these new two chargers - the USM2 and USM4.  These chargers (most importantly?) fit 21700 cells, among other awesome features.  Read on!

Wuben E05 Flashlight Review

Wuben is still hitting the scene hard.  I've reviewed a Wuben before, the TO10R.  The build quality is great, and I was interested to see if Wuben would keep that trend going.  They sent the E05, which I believe has just been released, and here's my review and test of it!

XTAR VC2S Charger Review

Xtar has a bunch of new chargers out, including this update to a previous model.  This is the VC2S, which steps up the game from the original VC2 by adding an S!!  Maybe more, but read on to find that info out!

Zanflare F10 Tactical Pen Flashlight Review

Sometimes items show up that I don't really know much about, and didn't really plan on reviewing.  This is one of those items.  Fortunately it's a flashlight too, so I can certainly evaluate that aspect of it....  The rest I'll mostly leave to photos to describe.

Ultratac A1 Flashlight Review

Ultratac got in touch with me recently to review a light of theirs.  They have a few brass offerings and I was interested, so I agreed to review the A1 if they also sent a brass light.  The brass light (K18 Mini) will be reviewed soon, but here's the A1 for now.

Liitokala Lii-S1 Single Bay Charger Review

Liitokala is known for nice products which tend to be reasonably priced.  This is their latest offering, an update to the Lii-100.  This is the Lii-S1, which has a digital display, and the option to work no matter the orientation of the cell.  A novel feature!  Read on for more.

ISDT C4 NiMH/Li-Ion Charger Review

I had seen this charger randomly around the internet and it looks so fancy.  I like fancy stuff.  It also looks like a very capable charger.  Here's my review of it.  I'll say up front (and this might be the best place, too) that this charger is is advanced enough that my typical charger-tester setup.  What I mean by that is the resistance in my usual setup got sensed by the charger and prevented higher current charging.

Lumintop HLAAA 2.0 Headlamp Review

After talking to Lumintop (directly), I've gotten a light for review from them.  I hope to have more - they make a lot of stuff, including much of the BLF forum lights.  They sent a tiny headlamp.  An AAA light, with a magnet and an orange switch and headband.  Great combo!  Let's see how it stands up to testing.

Nitecore LA30 Lantern Review

Nitecore has a new lantern out, with some unusual features.  This is the LA30, which has an internal pouch cell (lipo), and can also run off 2 AA sized cells, too.  It's a nice combo, and has red and white emitters, too!

Manker E03H Headlamp Review

It's been a long time since I reviewed a Manker light, though I have liked most of the Manker's I've had.  The E14 is still a personal favorite (and in my opinion, a watershed light).  Good friends have described the E03H as a must have, so I ... had to have one!  Fortunately Fasttech came through for me.  So here's the review of the E03H!

Xtar VC2 Plus Master Charger Review

It's been a while since I reviewed anything for Xtar.  I like Xtar items.  They're typically solid workhorses - not always the most flashy items.  Xtar sent over this VC2 Plus Master charger, and I've been testing it for a while.  Read on!
