Everyone probably knows by now I enjoy brass lights. All kinds, all sizes.... I recently acquired the Maratac PCL in Brass. I don't like these as keychain lights, but they're fun lights to keep around. They call it the Personal Carry Light, and here are my thoughts!
I've had a run of keychain lights lately. And today I have another one by MecArmy. I recently reviewed the SGN7, and today it's the SGN3, a much smaller keychain light. This one has three emitters (white, red, and uv).
Seems that I've been on a keychain light kick lately, and here's another one! Well, in some sense, anyway. This is more of a rectangular light with unusual features.... Also my first MecArmy light in basically forever (the other being the PT16, which I really liked.) Read on for more info and thoughts about this MecArmy SGN7!
Truth is, I really only like one kind of twisty light. That happens to be triple A pocket lights. Nightfox wanted to send another of their lights for review (the UT20) and I asked that they include this little twisty. So here's how that one pans out! (The UT20 will likely be finished later this week.)
I've liked Eagle Eye lights before (the X2R was a personal favorite!). So when I saw this smaller Eagle Eye available, I asked GearBest for it, and they obliged.
I continue to have interest in brass lights. I never had the original Lumintop Tool (the tailswitch was unappealing to me). But I asked GearBest and received the brass version of the Ant, which is a side switch tool (basically). Read on!
I got a bit of a cold call from a company called "Favour." I honestly hadn't heard of them but they wanted to send out some of their very newest (and unannounced) offerings. They have the press to be good lights, so I was interested in seeing them. The first three, The T1921, T2042, and T2117 - all zoomie lights. And there's one more in this review, the T2222.
I'm on a brass kick lately! So I asked GearBest to send me this DQG Tiny AA Brass. I already know I like DQG lights a lot, and I already know I like brass... So I was excited to see this one in person!
Here's another light from Nitecore, the neat little MT22A. This light resembles both a beeper from the 80's, and a Cool Fall Spy, so it's quite interesting. Let's see how it fares the review!
Triple A (*2) flashlights aren't normally in my wheelhouse, but I do love my BLF-348 which is fairly similar. I was interested to see how I'd like my first penlight!
Here's a 26650 light that's about the most EDC'able 26650 light available. I tested the runtime, and carried it for a while to see how it fared.
After an ongoing discussion here about the smallest 18650 light available, I talked Kathy at GearBest into sending one of those DQG Tiny 18650 lights. At the same time, she included the DQG Fairy. I've reviewed a similar light before - the CooYoo Quantum. These are fun little lights, but let's put it through some paces to see how it looks.
